Grasshopper Cleans Feet
One day when I went outside, I bent down to tie my shoe. I saw a huge grasshopper. I cupped my hands so it could stay in my hands. I made it stay on my finger. It started to clean its feet. It circled its antennas and put it in its mouth and the circle got bigger and bigger. Then it did the same thing with its other antenna. And then I laid him on the mailbox. Then I put him on my finger. Then I put him on the ground. Stout sniffed the grasshopper and the grasshopper hopped in the air. Stout tried to bite it. I thought that wasn't so safe. So I took him and put him on the tree next to the mailbox. That's where he lives.
Green grasshoppers are OK to play with, but don't with those brown and yellow ones that have red under their wings. They can spit tobacco in your eye and blind you. I'm not sure this is true but that was what I was told when I was your age.

You are a good human to put that grasshopper in the tree.
Eric came in and wanted some salt to put on a slug. Andrew was watching the slug and waiting for Eric. A few minutes later they both came in and said they used a stick to move the slug from the driveway to the grass.
I think you must all be related.
