Everyone I talk to today is suffering to some degree with this high pollen count. My eyes are puffy and itchy and my head feels like it's going to pop.
I checked the local pollen count, it was 10.5 today. I put in the Tucker zip code and found out that it's 9.5 there, so it must be bad all over the south.
Have you noticed any yellow stuff at your house?
9.5 is nothing! It will be in the thousands by the end of the month (at least on the Atlanta Allergy Clinic's count, which isn't working apparently). I've been noticing it already, but not enough to take anything for it. CNN says the level is high and the Weather Channel says it is very high. I guess it depends on who you ask.
I searched www.pollen.com. On that website it only goes up to 12.
I guess it won't get into the thousands then.
I don't understand those "counts". Last year the count was 100 and they said it was extremely high. It kept climbing to over 3,000 and you are concerned about 10.5?
Ok folks. It's apples & oranges. Fahrenheit & Celsius. Barnum & Bailey.
Actually it says that it's elm and cedar; apples and oranges don't even bloom right now. Atlanta's clinic (which is on the metric system) is back online:
