Today I went horseback riding for the 1st time in 5 years. The first horse they put me on was called Did It. He didn't like me, even though I had given him an apple. He started to rear up and he backed up into the trees. Luckily this little teenage girl came and got me off that horse. We went back to the stable and they found another horse named Adam, she's a girl. I gave her an apple, too. My friend, Amy (she has more experience), got on Did It and we started out. Luckily another little girl named Nicole came along. She was on Did It's brother, Done It. She rode the trail with us. She talked the whole time and calmed me down. She will be 13 in May. I can tell you a lot more about her if you want to know. Anyway, Adam turned out to be a great horse for me. She was really sweet.
The first time I went horse back riding was in Savannah when I was 13. It was my football team's travel game. I rode bare back all day. When returning, the horse started running because he wanted to go home. I jumped off because a big branch was about to hit me. The ground was sandy, so that was good. I was very sore the next day... not from jumping off, but from riding all day.
Nicole and Danny rode on a camel together once. They didn't jump off.
I am very fond of girl pets with boy names.
(Dad, that sounds like a somewhat traumatic experience.)
