MLK Day

Today we got up early, ate pancakes and bacon, then left to Chastain Park for MLK day.

It was a productive 4 hours of raking leaves and snow.
Less than half of the people who had signed up to volunteer actually came. It was pretty tough, but we actually wound up finishing earlier than planned. Despite the hard work that comes with breaking up ice and clawing at wet leaves, I had fun. Wish it hadn't been so, cold though. The chill bit me though 5 layers of clothing.

That was great of you to help clean up Chastain Park! I used to play frisbee golf there sometimes.

That was good of you all to go help in the freezing weather. Hope you don't catch colds! Why were you cleaning up Chastain Park? And what part of the park?
