Pink Floyd Sound Engineer: Andy Jackson

A radio interview with Andy Jackson on the making of The Wall (movie soundtrack) which spun off The Final Cut. Didn’t know that. The combined 3 disks are some of my favorite CDs.

  1. Every time I go into blockbuster The Wall the movie is out. Meh, my Dad probbly won’t let me see it anyway. I do, however, want to see Live in Pompei. My friend says its awesome. The band went and set up their stuff in the ruins and recorded a live concert, but they didn’t let anyone in. Cool.

  2. I liked Live in Pompei. It’s not just a concert film but also showed them in the studio working on Dark Side of the Moon too. During the concert in one scene the drummer loses a drumstick and grabs another one without missing a beat. I didn’t even notice it, but one of my roommates saw it and we rewound (back in the old days) and played in slow motion to see what happened.

  3. I haven’t seen Live in Pompei, but it sounds very cool. Carr can drop a drum stick and pick up another without missing a beat. The Wall is a pretty crazy movie. You are probably right that your dad will not let you check it out. You’ll have to wait until you’re 23.
