Eric's gone

We got up at 5:30 this morning to take Eric to the church to leave for the Catholic H.E.A.R.T. Workcamp (Helping Everyone Attain Repairs Today).
They are driving to Bluffton, S.C. and staying in McCracken Middle School.
Gramalie, Kelly, David, & Andrew will pick him up next Saturday afternoon. Bob and I will be in New York.
I'm sad.

UT:

If Eric can fix things like his Dad, then he should be able to help everyone in South Carolina attain repairs. That is great that Eric is using part of his summer to help other people!

Jeb:

Don't think of Eric being gone... rather think of him having gone to a better place. And then think of it being temporary because when you come home from N.Y., he'll be home. Maybe that will help.
