Other answers:

  • 3 through 6 guess, super after my 2 start words
  • After I use Word Finder
  • After second word
  • Before what I hope will be my final answer
  • Between option 2 and 3, and to look up yesterday’s word if i cant remember
  • Both every guess and guess 2 on. I pre-compiled a set of starter words and when I created that, I cross checked them against the list. So Yes every guess, but my first words are pre-cleared (and crossed out after they become the solution word.)
  • Checking recent vowels at start and then when I think I have the word to see if it’s previously appeared
Every guess after the first two.
  • I never use it until after I have solved the puzzle. I like to look back and see what words have been used in the past. Just curious.
  • Most often for my second guess
  • Only when I need a starting word that hasn’t been the answer in order to heighten my chances of getting it in one.
  • Plan future first guesses
  • Reminder of recent answers
  • to check my own list
  • To confirm a guess has not been used
  • To get answers on days I haven’t played to keep my list up to date
  • To know yesterday’s answer in order to update the “Wordle Letter Popularity” Chart on Reddit.
  • We have a group that uses the same initial word each week. It allows us to compete against each other. Use the list to check that we have a new wordl word.
  • When I need a new starter word or when I miss a day and want to know what the answer was.
  • When I think I’m actually going to solve the word, usually the third or fourth line
  • With every guess usually not including the start word
