Dad and I went looking for a Geocache called 1984, and we failed to find it. Others have taken three and four visits to find it. The problem with this one is that there is a verticle dimension because the cache could be anywhere on five levels of a parking deck. To zero in, we had to go on the top deck. The 20 story office building next to it kept blocking our reception. It’s somewhere within (under) the red circle, but it could be in the adjacent courtyard. The “big brother” clue (hence 1984) seems to allude to the security cameras in the parking deck. We gave up after about and hour and decided to go ask for clues.
Now playing: Brick by Ben Folds Five from “Whatever And Ever Amen”
Did you get Brick by Ben Folds Five from me? That’s a really nice song. What do you think?
Why, no Mr. Ted asking questions like that on the internet… why no I don’t think you’ve ever given me any copies of any copyrighted music. But yes, I do like that song and the entire album is a good listen.
(Comments are a good place for a public discussion. I’m not sure you are going to ever come back here and stumble onto this reply.)
What I was saying was Is that the album I *bought* for you at full retail price? Did I get you the whole album?
Yes, it does appear that you *bought* me all of the tracks and yes I enjoy listening to all of them together… in sequence… on the CD player that I *bought* as opposed to some MP3 player thing which I did not buy.
As I get older I enjoy quieter (legal) music more so you can *buy* me more of that.
Yes, I really liked the Sonic Youth and Pixies that Uncle Ted *bought* for me.
Maybe I should *buy* him a great White Stripes record in return?
Dad: Have you watched the Tom Waits’ DVD I …bought… you yet? I went into my favourite record store yesterday and the same DVD was playing, it looks like really great quality.
