Kathy and I ran for the mountains. Carol watched the kids Friday afternoon then turned them over to Mom & Dad for the rest of the weekend.
We headed up for Habersham Hollow, a bed & breakfast somewhere near Clarkesville, GA. Kathy kept calling it Happy Hollow.
After a few missed turns and the help of a friendly Exxon station employee, we found our way up a dirt road closer to Helen than Clarkesville. When we arrived, we got to choose between the bed in the house or a tiny cottage. We took the cottage for privacy. It was literally a one-room cottage, though the bathroom was enclosed, and there was a loft.
