” You’re being arrested for throwing away money!” yelled the mean voice.
” What are you taking about? I didn’t throw away ANY money.” I panicked
” Than check out the trash can yourself!”
“Ummmm, okay.” I dried off and put on my slippers and robe. I poked my head out the door. One of the obese officers grabbed the collar and yanked me out.
” See, this nickel was in your trash.”
” How do I know you didn’t just put it in there?”
“Uhhhh, we’re not that stupid. Actually…… I thought
“Now come along you’re going to court. “They shouted yanking my hands behind my back handcuffing them. My brother stood at the door sliding one finger across another representing shame.
“*Sniff* How could you throw away that nickel!” My mother wailed. My dad covered his arms around her.
“Uhhhhhhh, you know I could easily slip my hands out of these handcuffs and escape.” I pointed out.
” Stop being all smartellicky. You money thrower away………er!” commanded a policeman. I wiped off the spit he spat on me.
” Mr. and Mrs. Doze you need to get in some fancy clothes and come to court to be our witnesses.” commanded another policeman. He marched himself back to the car squeezing himself into the front as I sat alone in the back. Well, it was roomy- anyway,
” Uh, do guys have any doughnuts or somethin’?” I asked
” No, if we did we wouldn’t give you any.” yelled one of the policemen, ” besides you should get used to be starving once you end up in jail when we get to court.” I swallowed hard with fear.
This story wasn’t finished yet!(oops)
