Do you know allot about New Mexico? If you don’t I’ll tell you all about it. Some houses are made out of mud, clay, dirt, and sand. That’s because apache Indians live in them. more than 55,855,9 live there.My mom was born in New Mexico, and she says that an alien spaceship crashed during a war. ( but was actually a marine tank that crashed instead)
Do you know the capitol of new Mexico? It is Santa Fe. Santa Fe is the third largest city in New Mexico. The largest city in New Mexico is Albuquerque.(384,736 people live there.) Do you know the date when New Mexico first became the states of America? It became the 47th state in January 6, 1912.. New Mexico is the 10th largest state in the U.S.A. the symbol in the middle of the flag represents the hot sun. The background is gold and the sun is red. Did you ever know New Mexico’s state nickname? New Mexico’s nickname is the Land of Enchantment. three interesting facts I would like to share with you about New Mexico is. in the 1950’s a bear cub was rescued from a awful forest fire. After they finished taking out the fire they named the small cub Smokey. In the 1100’s the Anazi ancestors of peblu Indians had an advance cilvilation for hunting dogs . Cattle and sheep are important in New Mexico about 2 million farm animals are raised and New Mexico has more live stocks than people! Do you know New Mexico’s state bird? It is the road runner. The state flower is the Yucca.The pinion is New Mexico’s state tree.
Did you ever know New Mexico has their own song? Well they do it’s called Asi es Nuevo Mexico. Some states that boarder New Mexico are Arizona, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, and Mexico.
Some famous people that lived in New Mexico are Kit Carson, Georgia O’ Keefe, Jean Baptist Lamy, Chave Dennis, Billy the kid, Bobby Unser. The three largest cities are Albuquerque, Las Crucues, and Santa Fe. The economy is chilies ,potash, natural gas, oil, copper, automatic research, uranium. some historic sites are Toas, Alamogordo, Santa Fe trail, Los Alamos,Pueblo Bonito. Fresh water used every day is 2,300 gallons/day/person. Garbage is 1,880,000 per year 9% recycled.
Two rivers in New Mexico are Rio Grande and Peco River. And now I told you as much as I could that I knew about New Mexico.
