Pre-COVID, I did all my note taking with blue Zebra G-301 0.7mm slim metal gel pens. My “stock” of them came home with me during COVID and beyond.
I take a lot fewer written notes now, and time is going by, and I think all of my gel is getting sticky. I can’t get pens to write anymore when I need to.
So, I decided to go back to a mechanical pencil. Found Rite in the Rain brand. 1.3mm 2B. Thick and dark.
As soon as I started using it, I started to sketch! I can shade things!
A pencil is like a revolver. You know it is going to work even if you don’t pick it up for years.
Bought a second one and found the same product a bit cheaper under the NicPro brand. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B3XFGT3L
