JBL Charge 4

In a house full of streaming Google Home Speakers, you sometimes need to take music on the go. While the new JBL Charge 5 is out, it makes the JBL Charge 4 a good deal, so we’re giving it a spin (to the beach!)

This deal came with a hardshell case.

“Play and charge endlessly!” The Charge acts as a powerbank for charging your phone. Although when the battery dies, that’s an end to the music and phone charging…

The JBL Charge 4 comes with a USB cable. But you need to find your own power brick. When you do, it will go in the end compartment of the hard case well. Press the bluetooth button, pick the “JBL Charge 4” on the phone, and the room is filled with a great base and tweeter sound.

Hardshell case is nice for travel and storage, although we’ll probably keep it charged and use it daily. Note the room for the charging plug. We can use the JBL Charge 2 plug we’ve had for years.
