I was outside taking pictures for a project for school, and look what I found!!
Somebody waiting for their prom date? This guy doesn’t have a license. Clyde looks adorable in a bow tie!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! We celebrated New Years Eve day in downtown ATL. First we rode over on the MARTA and went to Centennial Park where we ice skated. Then we ate at the CNN building and went to watch the Sugar Bowl Parade. We got back home in time to make sundaes, watch the ABC New Year’s Special (which was terrible, by the way). Then we watched the peach fall and went outside to bang pots&pans, and blow horns. I shared my new years kiss with Clyde (tee-hee, on the ear), who was struggling to get away. I wish everyone a Happy New Year, and to a bright 2006.
Bratz dolls vs. Barbies?
Who won? Excellent question, the answer lies within the evidence below.
The treaty says:
Treaty of Barbie
Let it be known from this day forward Barbies win! Bratz shall forever be our slaves and we will be the models, not them.
Ken
Tour Guide Barbie
Chloe Bratz
It was a gruesome war. One Brat got trampled by 3 Barbies on a horse. Another got smooshed by a rock impersonating a bumblebee. Another had her arm ripped off and was hung upside-down. Ken tore off this one girls pants and started waving them around, so she was tied to a wall wearing the treaty. Then there was a girls who had her hair tied to a giant twist-a-braid, and was twisted around endlessly. The girl barbies were all dressed in pink and purple, looking fabulous… and the Bratz turned out to be somewhat naked. The only fully-naked one was covered by the treaty though. Oh yeah, and almost all the bratz lost their feet. That concludes the Bratz vs. Barbie War.
No humans were harmed in the making of this war. Ok… maybe one.

Spud,
I used to think that I could love no other than Red, but that was before… Bethany. I almost made a love potion, but decided against it. Such a thing as love should not be tampered with. She was new, and the only empty seat in science class was the one across from me. She makes all A’s, although she is not on the level of intelligence as me. She is in all smart classes too. She is beautiful too. I often find myself taking pictures of her with the camera I had built into my glasses. I have a few good ones where she is looking right at me. Those, I painted. She is one of the few girls who actually talk to me too! I love her more than potatoes. Unfortunately, it seems all the other guys like her as well.
(my paintings of her)
She is very nice, and I think I have learned some things from my past experience with Red:
1. Don’t go sneaking around her house until she leaves, and then walk in talk to her parents about your future relationship with her when you have yet to have a relationship with her.
2. Don’t sniff her hair in the hallway
3. Don’t send her love notes out of used tissues when there is no other paper around
4. Don’t stare at her incessantly
5. Don’t follow her friends around and pester them with questions about her
6. Don’t compare her to potatoes… 🙁
7. Don’t ask her how much make up she is wearing
8. Don’t ask her if her hair color is her real hair color
9. Don’t blow model kisses made up of lipstick at her
10. Don’t talk to her about scabs or poop
11. Basically, don’t talk to her about things she wouldn’t want to hear
That is just a shortened list, there are other things as well, I just think that they are more common sense than the things listed here, although, after asking my mother to review the long list, my mom gave me this look that said, “You did that? How could you not know to do that?” She was upset to find out about me going to Red’s house without confronting her. I feel that if I follow these things then I will not do the other things.
I am progressing in my potato experiments. I found yet ANOTHER way that potatoes can reproduce, and I have found that they have 2 other genders. There is Male and Female, and then there is Effimale and Remale.
My sister seems to be maturing at an increasing rate now that she is in pre-school. My mother is letting us get a puppy, and I sold my mutated hermit crabs to some science establishment for $15,000. That will go to my college fund… although it does not need anymore money, so I will spend half of it on new science equipment. Fare the well!

There are new hopkins on lostfrog.org! Although they are now set to show at random, so it takes several clicks to see a new one. You can’t type in an end number anymore. I saw one similar to Eric’s Albert Einstein one, with pit albert in it, and in color…. and there was more writing, but he might have gotten the idea from eric. There are a few pretty funny ones. I would check it out.

Last Friday I had to wake up about 5:45 am to go to school early, because I had to be at school at 7 am. My dad had “volunteered” to drive me, and 4 other 7th grade girls up to Athens for Honors chorus. On the way up, Dad decided that he needed some coffee, so we stopped at Quicktrip. Of course, we all wanted to get out and get something, so my dad let us out. We crowded into the Quicktrip with a bunch of hispanic builders to go get soda at 7:30 in the morning.
We arrived at the Classic Center about 8:50 to check in, which was actually walking into your room and sitting in the seat with your name on it. I was in a room with nearly 200 other 8th grade girls. Fortunately, I was with all the other altos at my school I knew. They split us up into altos, sopranos, and 2nd sopranos. Each group worked separately with a chorus director on their parts. We did that for 2 hours, and then we all came together again before lunch, and they looked around to see if any people looked out of place, because of their height. I was moved to the front because the lady thought that I was too short. I got moved between these two girls who were best friends with the girl I had got switched with. (They spent most the time trying to talk to their friend and ignoring me).
After that, we got our lunch break. This one girl’s mother had ordered sandwiches for the people at Crews while other schools went out to eat. We ate, goofed off, and still had some time to spare. My dad wound up taking all 30 kids from Crews (7th grade people and 8th graders) to smoothie planet… single handedly. I think he did pretty well though. We got back on time to rehearse more too. That was good, because if you were late twice they would kick you out. Our conductor was late though, so we worked on our pieces with this other guy. It was pretty confusing since we had pretty much just learned our parts a couple days ago, and then we had other parts we had never practiced with singing too.
20 minutes late, our conductor, Mrs. Whicker, showed up. She was really great to work with. We all thought she was funny, and she had fiery red hair to match her personality. We had to learn another song that day too… it was alot of hard work. We rehearsed from about 12 to 4 (?) with only one 1minute bathroom break (sections got their bathroom breaks at different times. Naturally, we all took 10 minutes to ride up and down the escalators, and go to the vending machines until other people working for the honors chorus told us to go back to our rooms.
From 4 to 6:30 was our dinner break. I got to see Michael, Fiona, and Aunt Jami. We went to the campus, and I got to play with Fiona on her 4th birthday!! Afterwards, my dad went with Aunt Jami, and I went with another chaperone and got to hang out with some other kids that I had never talked to before around Athens. we headed back to the Classic Center early, and I hung out with the 7th grade girls I had met in our car earlier. They were really funny. Then we had to go back and rehearse until 9:10. It started to get annoying towards the end because we were tired of just sitting around.
The drive back was great because of our bottled up energy. I think we screeched the songs on the radio all the way home… bad idea for our voices, but it was fine. I didn’t get home until 11.
The next day we had to wake up at the same time as the day before, my mom came up, and we didn’t have anyone to drive up. That girl and I switched back so she could be with her friends and I could be with mine. It was pretty much the same, rehearsal, shorter lunch this time. We only had time to eat and the go back for rehearsals. We rehearsed only a little, and then we went up on the stage, went back to our rooms, practiced our songs one more time before we got an hour break to change and go do what we wanted, Nicole came over, and she mom and I went to Smoothie Planet. It was empty this time. we had enough time to walk back.
I met up with Rachel and we accidentally caused a little mischief and wound up being late to returning to the rehearsal room because I needed to go to the bathroom ,and rachel didn’t want to come with me, so I had to get Ashtyn to come with me. Rachel wound up going to the vending machines (‘) right as we were about to start to go back to the room. We were late, but nobody noticed. we warmed up our voices, fixed a few mistakes in our songs, and filed out to the theater. By that time, I had to go to the bathroom again, of course. We were last to perform, so I had to get up on stage about to pee in my pants. I’m sure I looked quite strange.
We sang REALLY well though. We sounded like 10th and 11th graders. Overall, we were the best of the 7th grade girls, and the boys. (the highschool performance was after ours). I had to hop over chairs to get to the bathroom because the isles were so crowded. I”s a good thing I am so skinny, because there were small spaces between the chairs and the wall I managed to squeeze through. After I relieved myself, my family and I went out to this good coffee place where I got (Irish Cream flavored) French Soda and Pumpkin Bread. This was a great experience overall, and I really hope to get the opportunity to do it next year!
I noticed that a person on google had searched for “sheltie/chihuahua mix”. I searched on Google, and I was the 1st one on the 2nd page. Let me tell ya, that was honestly not a good picture of me or Stout. Plus, since the Guinness Shelty (mutt) should be better know, I am posting some much cuter pictures of Stout/other people with Stout. After all, he is the cutest little thing
They are just so cute that I had to put both of these pictures in.
Stout is not as photogenic as Clyde.
I went trick-or-treating this year with Shivani and Christine came over. I got some really good stuff! overall I had 238 pieces I believe. Claire and I had a little trading post, I was able to pull a few tricky tricks on her (TRICK-or-treat, right?) and get some good stuff. Like giving her green apple flavored candy and getting blow-pops out of it. I am not really sure what I was supposed to me. “You look great Kelly,” Christine said. I am a gorgeous model!! Well… I guess I WAS, you get my point. Well, by the end of the night, I had come up with an official name for my whole “ensemble”. I was a Zombie Pirate Clown. Unfortunately, nobody asked me what I was supposed to be. I was DYING to say a piece of clay. Ah well. claire and I also have a little candy collage.
Ah well. claire and I also have a little candy collage
I’m making a face in the background… what else is new?
I wound up having EXACTLY 4 more pieces than Claire. Which is actually pretty funny, because she gave me 3 pieces of candy before we counted. Haha! I think that is Ironic. She said that she didn’t like those candies.
New Candy:
*A whistle?? not quite candy, but a lady was handing them out this year so…
*Bubblicious pops– Lolly pop, gum, and juice in the middle.
*Imitation Blow Pops– Double Bubble, and Hubba Bubba. Both worse than the real thing.
*Tropical Flavored Tootsie Roll Pops
*Hubba Bubba gum sticks, with a sticker!!
*Jolly rancher fruit chews, had the lollipop fruit chews, but not the plain fruit chews.
It was strange this year, I didn’t get the normal 80 tootsie rolls, i only had about 8 this year. I didn’t get any popcorn bags this year either… or any of those really gross candies I always get. Oh, and it’s a record, 1 Almond Joy in my entire candy bag!
My sister and I have enjoyed using this piano very much. It is great for practicing, because you can record your piece and listen to it back so that you can pick out mistakes. The recording feature is also great for parties so that we can show people our different pieces. They have about 10 different piano noises, as well as probably over 100 other noise options. Some of them are just fun, like bubbly noises. Then again, there are real instruments like the violin and trumpet. It is great to have those sound options as well when you would like to make up songs. You can turn the volume up and down so when people in the house want to hear us we can blast it! Or, if people are still asleep, we can turn it down just to practice. There is a headphones plug too. I have enjoyed this piano very much, plus it came with a large book of 50 songs that I have enjoyed playing. This is about as close as you can get to a real piano when it comes to electric pianos. I think I like it BETTER than a real one.
