Middle school is pretty okay. It is no problem for me. A few weeks were necessary to get serious, but now I am in shape, it is easy. I had no idea how to navigate to my classes, so I suggested to one of the girls who rides my bus (not exactly the sweetest thing) that we should just follow all the big people. We wound up getting to our classes fine. Now I could find my way around the school blindfolded… which, by the way, I don’t think I’ll try.The first few days were so boring. All we did was talk about rules, and when we finally started switching classes we did the same thing only this time they gave us crossword puzzles, word searches, word jumbles, and just about anything else you can think of with word in it. It took us awhile to REALLY get started. Now it seems like that was all months ago. My teachers all pretty nice. The only teachers I have a problem with are my probe teachers (I am in math and Social Studies). My math probe teacher is mean and her personality is completely the opposite of mine. My Social Studies probe teacher is just kind of…dull. I have gym and I’m playing the violin in orchestra. Middle school is an exciting experience!!
Woah! I have not posted in a long time! It must’ve been months. I’ll have to catch up on all this as soon as i finish my homework…
KEC JC MCC Father Daughter Dance
I am just figuring out how to do pictures or graphics on my website. The hardest thing is if I want a graphic off another website. My dad showed me how and I went to test it out with our website mac.fiveforks.com. When I pasted it, it looked like this:

My dad looked at it and saw a problem in the html code. It said “kec-2002/Thumbnails/1.jpg”. I am working on a different server than that so this server did not know what to do. It needed to say “mac.fiveforks.com/kec-2002/Thumbnails/1.jpg” so it could get the picture from that website. This stuff still confuses me so I try not to worry about it. I just do what my dad says!!

This isn’t a very bad habit, but I just notice it more. I use the word “apparently” a LOT! I know how I started this habit…sort of. One day I kept on using it and the next thing you know it became my favorite word!!
My dad talks about trackbacks on his blog. He gives you a link on how to use them and tells you what they are. I am still trying to figure out how to use them, but so far I know the basics. In fact, I am still learning new things about using a blog, period!! I’m sure I’ll be able to get it all down sometime soon…
A few days ago while I was watching Clyde sitting in the grass; a butterfly landed on his nose!! He lifted up his ears and crossed his eyes to look at it. I started cracking up, and it jumped on to his paw. Then he sort of did this low barkish growl. Of course then it flew away, but it was funny!
At last summer is here. How come it is so boring? Nick JR. still comes on in the morning so there is nothing to watch. Quite a few of my friends have already left for vacation and there is nobody to talk to on e-mail or to invite over. Also I still have to wake up early for swim team. Which I don’t like very much this year because a lot of my friends aren’t on my team or they have gone up an age level already. The only real advantage I have here is staying up late ( I don’t really want to do that though because then I will be REALLY grumpy because of swimteam ). Of course, there is no more school work. Hmmmmm. Well…that works for me!
