Easter

We will miss the Ettensohns this year for our family get-together. Grant, Jami, Fiona and Michael will be here about 11 a.m. and I’m saving some hard boiled eggs for Fiona to dye. Jeb’s family will be here about 2:30. I don’t know about Ted, but hopefully he’ll come on over as soon as he gets all of the dogs and cats taken care of. Susan is in Nashville, so Ted has all the dogs at his house.

I read in my “Little Black Book” that the Irish traditionally have corned beef for Easter, so that’s what we are going to have, although there are some of us who aren’t Irish. We all like corned beef. Granddaddy will stuff the plastic eggs with money and candy, and we’ll just see if Mary Claire finds the silver dollar again this year. I think she has for 4 years straight!

Happy Easter to all of you.
