Many years ago, Nicole kindly scanned almost all of my Simon cartoon strips. That captured the images digitally, but I’ve been waiting for the right technology to manage the comments I want to build around them and view them over the web. I think iPhoto and its ability to export to web pages may be the way to go.
Does this test of one week’s worth of Simon’s work as a way to read them? There is a bonus Saturday issue in this series.
you did those? Cool!
I remember reading some of those. I think the Calvin Klein kilt strip may have been done while we were up there visiting even. I think it is a good format, but the full-size images take a while to show up on the screen. I don’t know that you can worry too much about diallers like me since we are in the minority.
Mom and Dad had a subscription to The Observer just so that we could read your comic strips. Some days we would get 3 or 4 Observers. I think it was amazing you were able to do a daily strip like that.
That’s pretty cool, Jeb. You were six years ahead of me on the college comic strip thing, but mine was only printed every other week. I have no idea how you managed to do a daily while going to school.
Shortly after Jennifer and I got married I was determined to get a strip syndicated, but after coming up with a few weeks worth of strips I realized I just wasn’t that funny. So I went into management.
very good… finally i can show my buddies your simon
Where did the cartoons go??
