Yeah, I misspelled Benatar. I thought I did well to get the correct spelling of Patti Smith (which I looked up; actually I looked up Benetar later and Google corrected me but by then I had posted already).
I was surfing the 70’s discs today. I was happy to see Because the Night was there. But in 1978 there is another Springsteen song: Fire by the Pointer Sisters. That’s a song I really like and I think it’s funny how different it is when it is sung by the Boss and the Pointer Sisters. Kind of like when Lyle Lovett sings Stand by Your Man.
And it wasn’t even Pat Benetar that sang it; it was Patti Smith.
